Marketplace Catalogs into Clean, Sorted CSVs
A browser bot that walks Glovo storefronts category by category — handling lazy loading, nested menus, and popups — and exports deduplicated product catalogs with names, prices, images, and categories.
How it works
The system, end to end.
- 01Store URLsfrom text file
- 02Walk categoriesnested menus
- 03Scroll + extractname · price · image
- 04Dedupe + sortclean rows
- 05CSV per storetimestamped
The problem
The client needed product catalog data — names, prices, images, categories — from Glovo storefronts for price research and marketplace analysis. Glovo’s store pages are dynamic and lazy-loaded: products only appear after clicking through category tabs and scrolling, so neither manual copying nor simple HTTP scraping could capture a full catalog reliably.
The build
The bot reads a list of store URLs from a plain text file and opens each one in an undetected automated browser session. It dismisses cookie banners and popups, then traverses the store’s menu structure — top-level tabs and nested subcategories alike — scrolling each section until no new products appear, so lazy-loaded items aren’t missed.
Every product card is extracted with its name, price, image URL, and category. After all passes complete, the output is deduplicated, sorted, and written to timestamped CSVs per store, with live console logging showing category progress and item counts throughout the run.
The result
A repeatable catalog-extraction tool the client runs themselves whenever they need fresh data — delivered in six days as a second order from a repeat client.
